I have missed this space so much. In the last year I have embarked on a Fine Art degree and because of that, the greener dream blog has been largely idle. As the first year of my course is drawing to a close I thought it would be nice to post a few pictures here from a project I am working on at the moment for Digital Lens Based Media.

I wanted to merge my love for the elemental forces of nature with photography and I hope the results are enjoyable.

Air. A fierce storm or a gentle breeze. The never ending movement of change. Seeds carried on the wind.

Spring is here.

Light and warmth is returning once again. This year it feels more welcome than ever. There is so much to be grateful for.

Remember that happiness and kindness is the key. Most of all be kind to yourself. Take a little time out. Go for a walk. Do something you really enjoy. Positive thoughts create a positive world. 💚

People often talk about beautiful autumn colours. We think it is time to celebrate all the colours of spring as well. Although they are not as fiery and bold as the autumn colours, they fill the land with their own special energy. Light green, white, blue and pink is dotted across the landscape.

Looking back at April, we find that spring is about two weeks later than usual here on the land. It took until the end of the month for most plants to start to flower, but by now the bees are making up for any time lost and if you walk out amongst the berry shrubs you are surrounded by a loud chorus of buzzing insects. It looks like it will be a very large berry and fruit crop this year, judging by the amount of blossom.

After a couple of weeks in Sweden we are now back home with our feet firmly planted on Irish soil. Before we left it was unusually cold but in our absence quite a remarkable transformation has taken place.
